The STWDB COG is created for the express purpose of implementing, governing, and administering any and all workforce and economic development programming as directed by the local Workforce Development Board (WDB), and as authorized and permitted pursuant to the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014, as amended, and/or any other related and/or similar workforce and/or economic development legislation enacted by federal, state, or local laws.
