Community Career Fair Presented byBlack College Football Hall of Fame

The Pro Football Hall of Fame, Black College Football Hall of Fame, OhioMeansJobs of Stark
and Tuscarawas Counties, Stark Tuscarawas Workforce Development Board and
Strengthening Stark came together to host the Community Career Fair on August 31st, 2023
from 4-6PM at the Timken Career Campus.
The Career Fair featured approximately 40 local employers who promote growth
opportunities and had hiring wages minimally starting at $16.50 per hour. Several community-serving entities were also present at the career fair, to assist job seekers by connecting them
to available resources.
With 86 job-seekers in attendance and 12+ interviews scheduled, employers shared that they
were very satisfied with the event and look forward to participating in future career fairs.
