I am the Assistant Director of Adult Education at Buckeye Career Center. I oversee all of the full-time and part-time Adult CTE programs at the Career Center, as well as the Fire, EMT, and CDL schools.
At BCC our Mission is “to serve the community by empowering people, of all ages, to discover their passion and prepare for their future through Career Technical Education.” Being part of the Workforce Development Board seemed like a perfect fit in helping to fulfill that mission.
One workforce challenge I am passionate about addressing is helping to train the workforce of the future to meet the needs of our manufacturing community and to help people build skills that will lead to well-paying careers now and in the future.
I wear many hats. I am a City Councilman, a church musician, and a high school football official. But one of my most important and fulfilling positions is GRANDPA to 5 wonderful grandchildren aged 1-6 years old.
