Building a Stronger Community: Career Connect

Career Connect is a unified, holistic workforce development model designed to meet job seekers where they are and help them move forward with the support of trusted partners. Career Connect equips individuals with the tools they need to successfully enter or reenter the workforce through training, guidance, coaching, and resources.

At the heart of this initiative are the Navigators—dedicated staff from each partner organization who work directly with job seekers to remove barriers to employment, connect them with opportunities, and create clear pathways to local employers. By addressing both career readiness and personal challenges, Navigators ensure that individuals don’t just find a job, but have the support needed to thrive in it.

In 2024, 334 individuals retained placements at the average hourly wage of $16.61, which equates to an impact of $8.2 million in newly earned income!
